 I used to be part of the chatzy chat room that hd2o has going on and some of you have wondered why I haven't been in lately.

For one simple reason, I haven't felt like it.

As fun as the chat room is sometimes, I just don't have the attention span to follow conversation(s) between potentially 9 other people. It gets a little tiring for me mentally and then I wander off and end up missing things anyway.

I do a lot of reading, so when I'm reading I don't pay attention to anything else. And on the rare occasions that I write something, I'm afraid to break my focus. 

So I've just decided to let well enough alone.

I can be reached on a wealth of messengers though and I respond better in a one on one setting. So if you want that information to talk with me, just let me know.

I'm also good for one-on-one word wars, so if anyone wants to add me for that reason, feel free.

Ha - absolutely same here. I will still pop in occasionally, but more to exchange encouragements and plot ideas than to have 9 actual conversations.

Also, I would like to chat with you sometime and/or hold one-on-one word wars. (Once my next writing project is ready to set off, that is.) If you feel like it as well, SHARE YER SEKRIT INFORMATION? :D

I hate chat rooms. I can't keep track and I really hate the confusion of 6-10 people all babbling at once. It actually gives me a headache. All my contacts are by email or here or on several Mailing lists.

When there are a tonne of people on, it's so hard to concentrate. When some conversations get going, it's so easy to just drop out and not pay attention. I'm always missing something. So I fade to black now until it dies down. :/ So long as you keep posting on your journal!
