I just watched "Were The World Mine" and I can say without a doubt that you guys absolutely need to watch it.
It is a breathtaking moving. It's a rendition of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." A drama teacher at an all boy's school has decided that this should be the play that they work. Well, a gay boy gets the lead Puck and it takes a beautiful spin on opening people's eyes to heterosexuality.
I honestly believe that this movie coupled with it's fabulous songs (all of which was pulled right from Shakespeare's text, even if it was rearranged) may have given me the inspiration for my Draco's Big Bang fic. It'll take a little tweaking and researching but if I could pull something off I believe it would be a very good read.
Seriously, watch it. If you have netflix then you can stream it for free there, if not then look for a site that streams movies for free and watch it. (Or go and rent it if you're uncomfortable with that. Just find a way to watch it.
