This is one of those fics that leaves you feeling with a sense of completion. It's a round trip kind of deal. Most fics leave you with a good feeling, but with questions that make you wonder what will happen next.

This fic has a sense of finality that brings a smile to your lips. There are no questions left unanswered. You wonder what may happen down the road, but it's not really in regards to the relationship. Rather... the byproduct of the relationship. :) That makes no sense, but I can't flat out say anything because I'd rather not blatantly tell that part of the story.

This fic was very well written, and I admire the many personas that are portrayed here. The fic starts out as Harry and Draco being signed up for a Wizard Online Dating site and corresponding through it with neither the wiser to the other's identity. Their personas there give you a great look into who they are and not who the world sees them as.

Their dynamic together as themselves in equally compelling, especially so when it's made clear just how right they are for each other.

It's heart warming in every sense possible and I admit that I did get misty eyed in some places.

It's more than just a story, it's a look into a shared life so full of compassion.

Have you read "Single Wizard Seeking Same? It's another great, really great, personals story. *goes to find link* Oh. It's not ENTIRELY a personals story. It actually isn't the one I'd had in mind. Crap. There IS one I had in mind, though, involving a personal in the Daily Prophet. SWSS is a classic, though.

I forget, are you returning after a long absence from fandom, and therefore have read all the "classics" already?

Now I'm on a mission. I WILL find the fic I had in mind! It started with a picture of a newspaper clipping.

(25 min later) Found it! "Desperately Seeking Someone by [livejournal.com profile] alaana_fair.

Also, if you haven't read it, "Per Solum Lacuna (By Words Alone)" by Azhure and...Wintermoon? Hm. The HF page doesn't list the co-author, but I'm pretty sure there was one. Anyway, it's still my favorite correspondence fic; I first read it in the early days of my getting into H/D...No. I first read it when I was discovering THF. Because I was definitely poking around H/D before 2006!

I actually had Desperately Seeking Someone on my list to read. I had skipped over it in the beginning to the last two recs. I'm glad you mentioned it though because I had lost the link that I was looking at before.

I haven't read any of the others either, so they'll be nice to sit down with.

My absence has been a little less than a year, but I read fanfiction only from time to time and only what I wanted. Sooo, there are still a good many classics that I haven't read as of yet.
