I was a little iffy about this one when I looked at it, but I went ahead and read it. I was instantly sucked into it.

It's 18k so it's only an hour or two read, but it is so worth it. If you're not into shorter fics, make the exception.

This fic literally had me in tears. They weren't big, fat tears of uber sad. My tears didn't have tears, but a few squeezed out, and that's really saying a lot.

This is one of those authors that amaze me with how they can tie in things in a story with their wit and ideas. It's perfect.

Some fics leave you wanting for more, wondering what happens, and wishing for a sequel. But this one... I wouldn't mind reading more in the least, but it was perfect the way that it ended.

I would definitely recommend this one whole-heartedly.

Take the time. It has sentimental value.

I have no idea how many words it is, I don't go through the hassle of doing a word count for other people. So. It is quite lengthy, but it's only a couple of hour's read.

Anyway, the premise is that Harry is a vampire and Draco turns out to be some kind of mate to him.

Personally, I love vampires, so this paired with Drarry is a really nice thing. I used to stray from this particular plot line because I was afraid to be UTTERLY disappointed. For some reason I had visions of stiff, unfeeling words that made me wish more and more that I could bang my head on the desk.

This was truly a breath of fresh air and a sigh of relief.

The way that she wrote him as a vampire was incredibly appealing, and the dynamic between him and Harry is... blood boiling. It's truly tantalizing.

I can honestly say that I loved this.

There were also a good many times that I laughed out loud, despite the fact that I'm currently sitting here at work.

This may well be one of my favorites.

This fic is a really good one, I have so much envy for the author. Their plot was clear, concise, and their manner of writing flowed so well. I think I have rec'd something else by this author before, she, at least sounds familiar, and I have to admit I'm quite envious of her ability.

You'll come to love the old bitty, Janice. She's such a great OC.

This story kind of follows the idea of getting together in a safe-house, except that it's Harry's own choice to hole himself up in Grimauld Place. Draco has to pursue him for a charity gala, but this gala would require Harry to go outside. With Draco's job on the line, and Harry's stubborn Gryffindor ways, Draco takes to going to Harry's every single day to persuade him to attend the event.

The last line of the story leaves you with an intense feel good moment and you want to hang onto it for just a little while longer.

It was an exceptionally sweet story and the characters are very close to canon, if not spot on in their given situation.

Definitely worth the 44k words to marinate in.

This fic is like sexy times with an echo of laughter.

It's so FREAKING hot, but right in the middle of your eyes glazing and your mind riding away on the delicious sensory overload of any good Drarry coupling, an unexpected laugh bubbles up in your chest and you can do nothing to stop it from growing.

To say that I enjoyed this fic would be a serious understatement. It was pure, epic win.

There are three parts, each one just as good as the last.

Be warned though that the third installment is what happened BEFORE the first one. In the first you get a verbal recounting of what happened, but the third you get the actual story.

It took me near to part two on the third installment to figure it out. Maybe I'm slow, but just in case...

This time it's a drarry that casts Draco into the muggle world, in a sense. Harry goes on vaction to Vienna only to find Draco there working as a tour guide, making his life the muggle way.

It was very well written, and I adored the story so spectacularly. The characters were believable, the romance was not rushed. It all fell out really nicely. And the way that the author described the places in Vienna... So. Gorgeous.

This is the kind of fic that makes you want to drop everything and moves to the place that the fic took place in.

I can't say how many words it is, but it's a good sized fic that you can finish in a day if you sit for a few hours on end.

Oh my dear gosh golly bob.

I just read the most perfect fic ever to be perfect in the history of all that is perfect. I kid you not.

Who knew that Blaise/Harry/Draco would be so mind numbingly hot?!

Well, I do now! You have GOT to read this. The writing was superb, the emotions spot on, the sex plentiful, Hermione was great, the last line heart stopping, AND THERE IS GOING TO BE A SEQUEL!

Seriously, I've been reduced to fangirl status.

Warning for lots and lots of... er... "subtext"  spanning 16k word. Mmm.

I don't know if I can sing enough praises about this particular fic that I've just finished.

The attention that it demanded of me rivaled, and possibly exceeded, that of Mrs. Rowling. I literally spent every waking moment reading it for three days. The first night I gave up on sleep, and another i went for 2 hours. (I had naps, of course, but only after trudging home from work.)

Literally, I didn't even stop to eat. I read and ate at the same time.

I don't know how many years old a fic has to be to be referred to as a classic, but this is going down in the books as simply EPIC.

The plot was engaging, the writing superb. The story moved smoothly and gave so much insight. Truly this is a fic to suck you in and... ah, in the words of a certain Professor, "Ensnare the senses."

The fic is HBP Compliant, and I'll tell you one thing... Book seven... never even happened in my mind any more. This is the first HBP Compliant story I've read, but I don't know that it'll truly get better than this. (Of course, you're welcome to prove me wrong.)

This story presents 410,000 delicious words to devour spread over 62 chapters.

There are moments for everyone here. This truly has it all.

If you haven't, you seriously need to read it. And if you have read it... you need to read it again.

This one is one that I gave much rebuke to for reasons surprisingly unknown to myself.

"A Slytherin in Gryffindor's Clothing" is a story about the switching of parallel universe characters, basically. Draco is now a Gryffindor and Harry a Slytherin. Everything is backwards and somethings haven't even happened. Due to this, it's almost like a brand new story, you never really know what is going to happen next because you know nothing of this new "world."

At one point I thought I had tried it out and disliked it, but that couldn't have been the case as I was instantly engaged.

The fic is 38,228 words, so it's not too long in length and completely engaging.

Over all, I would say that you should read it... on general principle. ^ ~

This time it's just pure, unadulterated fluff.

The story is by the lovely leo_draconis, whom I've come to respect immensely as a writer.

It's a short one-shot where some see it fit to play evil pranks on Draco for his past transgressions.

I WILL say though... (And I hope she doesn't take this personal as she's on my friends list) that Draco was not in character by way of what we're used to. This is not wholly a bad thing, and in one way it makes sense. He's softer here, his harder outer shell is gone. Perhaps by necessity to survive with his situations as they are.

This one is 2,136 words.

Hopefully people don't get mad that this is my third post in a day. XD

This one is a one-shot and it gave me a good laugh or two. It was light-hearted and good-natured. It's definitely a pick-me-up kind of story that might be best situated between two angst stories.

It is a 5,363 word fic.

Do not let the summary or the letter in the beginning deter you. Honestly, the letter had me wondering what the hell was going on, but it was Harry's response of, "What the fuck" that kept me going.

Overcome it though, for it's Medieval Night, and anything can happen. ^ ~

I just finished a story that I strongly recommend, by the ever lovely, oldenuf2nobetter.

It's called, "That Which Divides Us" and I love every minute of it. There is a great deal of angst, but it is brought around in a very believable manner.

There are some original characters, but they were not so intrusive on the main characters that you start to despise them. In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed Michael and Lisette. (And Margie is a hoot.)

I will say that the story has Pansy played as a big part, and she is portrayed in a manner that I often see her in my head after Hogwarts. She is so great here.

On the other hand, if you are a big lover of Hermione, then you may want to develop a thicker skin or move on.

It's is nearly 130k words spanning 24 chapters and one fantastic epilogue. All loose ends are very nicely tied and you're left with a warm fuzzy feeling of the perfect ending.
