Another Rec Bites The Dust

So, with this story I had seen it rec'd and someone had stated that it didn't get near the attention that it deserved, I fear I have to agree.

I can't tell you how long it is because it'd 5 am and I'm being lazy, but it was three parts here on LJ.

This story was great, but kind of choppy in the sense that it just kept time skipping instead of fluidly connecting each moment. I realize some moments are fairly small and it would take three times as much to connect them, but there were stints where it was just three sentences and then another skip. (Sometimes with just another three sentences.)

However, it did not diminish the quality of the fic, and I found that I rather enjoyed it immensely -- not the skipping, the fic. (Or else I would have conked right out since I was sleepy two hours ago.)

Definitely worth the read, but then again, I don't post it if I think it's shite.

Rec Journal?

Been toying with the idea of making another journal. Or two.

Instead of loping everything together into this one journal where it no doubt floods some of my friends that have no interest... I thought about making a Rec Journal. (SnugglemintRecs: Which only makes me think of a peppermint dinosaur snuggling things, and that's twice as epic)

It wouldn't be like a community, just a journal that people can choose to friend or not where I put up the stories that I've read that I feel should be shared with those that wish to see them.

But, being that there are so many Rec Resources if one knows where to look, I don't know if I would just be adding to an already ginormous pile.

Thoughts?

(And the second journal would be SnuggemintWrites, buying into the "Writes" fad, but also getting the fic that I write, if I write, out of the way from people that don't care about it.)

And then that would leave this one open to my personal life. Certainly, people that add me for H/D don't need to know the latest sore spot in my life.
